That would still inherently be piracy which while not easy to enforce digitally is not really legal.
The main issue with it is when considering how applications can be distributed to others without their knowledge or consent and how that interferes with copyright law which generally seems to be a bit of a mess especially in the United States.

That is true although emulating the mobile version of minecraft basically provides you with the same options. It is a bit tricky to set up though and it probably doesn't run as well as the windows version but it will also work on mac os without boot camp.

Bluestacks nox player and memu are the best Android emulator and their for everyone and Android emulator are only for Windows
