We are almost too late...

It’s getting ridiculous at this point... it’s been here since 1985. There has been news articles all about it and yet we as a species hardly care, but some do. I’m talking about the environment. We have a beautiful planet with fresh clean oxygen and beautiful forests, oceans and animals yet, we take it for granted sometimes. Global warming is not a hoax, it’s causing fires and polar ice caps melting. we are loosing entire species of animals by the hour, 41,000+ animals are extinct, and it’s going up.

The fires in Australia have killed over 1 billion animals, 17 million acres of forest have been burnt and you know what caused this? Us. Cars, pollution. We are positioning our air with factories and burning fossil fuels. We have burnt so much coal we have almost run out, yet we still are burning tons a day and it’s going into the air.

(Global warming heats the earth causing dry forests to catch fire and because it’s so dry in Australia it burns easily)

Please don’t use plastic bags or bags for life. If you didn’t know bags for life are a deal that if your plastic bag breaks a shop replaces it for free. Use paper and cotton or decomposable plastic bags. Not bags that take 400+ years to decompose. If you can, bike places don’t drive... I understand if you can’t but I don’t want to live in a word where I have to wear a gas mask outside because the air is toxic, I don’t want to live in a world where big cats, rhinos and whales are extinct.

Please don’t use plastic, lower car journeys and remember to be grateful for what you have. <3.
Preach, sistaaaa!

Everyone, I mean the human species, but not all I’m saying “us” because I can’t keep saying some.

(most carbon emissions come from China not USA)

my 5th grade teacher has an adopted daughter from china and she said when she went over there the landing was bad bc there was just a layer of pollution-

thankfully my area is pretty good about keeping the river and all the little waterways that run into it clean. it’s like our #1 priority around here when it comes to nature. the main waterway does get
kind’ve trashy sometimes but we clean it and all. plus, every semester the 6th grade science teacher takes the classes he has that half down to do water quality tests

we help out but i can’t tell you what our river looks like up near the potomac and so on. so i can’t rly relate to the destroying the environment other than using cars.

one issue i have with this the car thing. my area there aren’t very good paying jobs here so many commute 45min-1hr+ (i’m just gonna say what my mom drives and all). 140 miles a day in total for 4-5 days a week is bad but it’s the only source of income. some people can’t risk to “shorten their car rides”..
