It’s getting ridiculous at this point... it’s been here since 1985. There has been news articles all about it and yet we as a species hardly care, but some do. I’m talking about the environment. We have a beautiful planet with fresh clean oxygen and beautiful forests, oceans and animals yet, we take it for granted sometimes. Global warming is not a hoax, it’s causing fires and polar ice caps melting. we are loosing entire species of animals by the hour, 41,000+ animals are extinct, and it’s going up.

The fires in Australia have killed over 1 billion animals, 17 million acres of forest have been burnt and you know what caused this? Us. Cars, pollution. We are positioning our air with factories and burning fossil fuels. We have burnt so much coal we have almost run out, yet we still are burning tons a day and it’s going into the air.

(Global warming heats the earth causing dry forests to catch fire and because it’s so dry in Australia it burns easily)

Please don’t use plastic bags or bags for life. If you didn’t know bags for life are a deal that if your plastic bag breaks a shop replaces it for free. Use paper and cotton or decomposable plastic bags. Not bags that take 400+ years to decompose. If you can, bike places don’t drive... I understand if you can’t but I don’t want to live in a word where I have to wear a gas mask outside because the air is toxic, I don’t want to live in a world where big cats, rhinos and whales are extinct.

Please don’t use plastic, lower car journeys and remember to be grateful for what you have. <3.

*tosses straw into the water*

Bye buddy! Hope you find your dad!!
i get you're joking but it's not funny anymore. we have an estimated 10 yrs left before the destruction we've done is irreversible and we will go extinct as a result, but haha let's make jokes and memes out of it.

We can’t fix it but we can try not to hurt it more. There are 150 million tons of plastic in the ocean, it will be 158 million next year. 100,000,00 fish die and 1,000,000 birds (a year) . Selling bags for 5p isn’t enough... just sell paper bags. I wish people would stop getting the plastic bags and then the store stops selling them.

We use more of the earth's resources than it can renew
More than 1 million species face extinction
Climate change could be irreversible by 2030.

We may never see snow after 2030 as ice is melting. We will only see snow In snow deserts like Antarctica, and I doubt you would go there. Over 800 million people are vulnerable to affects like drouts, fires and floods due to how we treat our earth.

I actually am kinda hurt by this because I went to the beach in houston and the water is dirty from trash and the oil rigs.... strangely things were still alive in it....

honestly only reason I have going near water...I (not to be rude) dislike most oceanlife..... It scares me and I don't even trust aquariums.... I don't want it do die, but I don't want it near me either. And, I hate the filth that humans put in it....I don't live close enough to the ocean to trash it so I'm not including myself in this really....everything else I accept the blame, but not killing wildlife....

I also befriended a hermit crab! we took it to our beach house and it sat on our dresser.....We had to return it though because we didn't know it could die unless it was in it's rightful environment. :'(

Btw the 10 year thing is very very false, we have until a little after 2100 but I'll be quiet.

But yes, this is a growing problem. We should do all we can to keep the earth we have clean. There is nothing like it, its our home. We must keep it in good condition.
