Unbanning -

I'll get straight to the point. I believe that most hackers are getting unbanned easily, maybe too easily. I say this as mostly, they use sympathy and also the sorry factor of hacking, in which staff give out an extra chance. Half of these ban appeals DO NOT even use the ban appeal format given.

Ray is a nice person, but I believe that his kindness is what brings him down. It is clearly shown that he had said he was banned and that he apologised to try and get unbanned - which did happen as a result of Ray giving a second chance of playing on the server again. That was pretty nice, and light, but HE WAS HACKING.

Now, you may say - He confessed that he was a hacker and that he should have a second chance!

Well I disagree.
What was the purpose of the Ban Appeal ?
The main purpose was to make an appeal if you were MISTAKENLY BANNED.

Also, Ziko had made a thread a while back -

It had specifically said that "even you say "you'll never do it again," we still won't un-ban you because you may still hack although you said you aren't going to anymore." Well that was debunked fast.

Well, since my kind personality when writing this - I believe that maybe they should be given a long temp-ban IF PERM-BAN and a shortened temp-ban for any temp-banned hackers.

Getting a little bit kind of confusing here, can we just keep things simple and just keep everything the way it is? It's the Mod's decision whether to unban or not anyways, we don't have much power.
