the truth about what players really want

Mini game boosters do not bring new players into the server they just bring players from different mini games to that specific game. Once the event is over the players will go back to the games they usually play on. BrokenLens events could be great for bringing the community together and making new friends but in no way will it attract more players.
That's why I like when people host events, @ChrxmeCz hosted a sw event a little while ago, and it did get the community together, in the sw portion.

but true, they don't bring new ones, but it gives people a chance to play it.

My (unpopular) opinion is that people grow up and move on- it not being a featured server means that it will not be found by new players therefore making the numbers never move too much from where they are right now
hm maybe is there a graph to show how many players were in brokenlens from the start to beginning

Kids are getting older, minecraft is updating. I remember when fusiondroid made youtube videos of the server so im sure that brought lots of people in but now you got all these fancy features severs. :shy:
And that's why we gotta get the current BRLNS youtubers noticed

no i mean yes that too but before there was lots of people and even after that lobby update there were still a bunch of people then it just died down. so my question is why?
There are probably multiple reasons to this, one won't be able to answer it, many things can cause this to happen, but to such a large portion, like it used to be 8k (at once?) and its around 2k now. so 6k people have left over that time.

not saying 'oh fix it!', but I can say for sure, the main lobby is extremely laggy, it takes me 3-10 times to load in till it doesn't freeze loading parts of chunks.

But smaller hub lobbies would be a lot better, we have too many afkers in lobby.

4 yrs is a very long time. Ik it may not seem like much to you guys but in these 4 yrs I went from being in primary to starting my IGCSEs (yeah I skipped a yr & a bit, but still). A lot of people moved on- maybe not out of choice but necessity. Also ngl I would imagine a lot of people have moved onto Java too, because frankly it's far more diverse in its modding and has more interesting servers since computers can run mini games that mobile could only dream of. Much more dynamic gameplay & mini games and definitely way more players

That's definitely one thing I'm sure has happened to a lot of players, switching their version, and or quitting over time.
