Well I get people liked the old lobbies, but I hate that people say the new lobbies suck (not blaming you xD)
But idrk what to say now so ima say a bunch of random c♥♥♥ that makes no sense

not all the lobbies are small and cramped, the Dng lobby is huge, tbb, SPLT, quake/TNTRun mw, sw and tsw bUt idrk what 2 say now

I know people liked the old lobbies more, but for me, I like the new ones because every lobbies have unique themes based on the game itself. Lobby like Splatter was built based on the Splatoon lobby, DrawAndGuess was built based on art theme. Yes, the old lobbies were great, but it's kind of boring and less interesting if all the lobbies are the same for different minigames.
For lobbies that are too cramped, I'm still thinking if I can fix it, or maybe make a new one for it.

While although I agree that yes, we miss the old lobbies from way back 2016 (considering that’s the year I joined Brokenlens on a now abandoned acc), I think the builders have done an amazing job with these new lobbies. They took their time to process EVERY lobby for EVERY single game, and give each lobby a personality and feel like home for each respective game. And some of the lobbies are just flat-our FASCINATING! Like the Draw and Guess lobby, and the Splatter lobby which is based on the Splatoon lobby. While some maps do need a bit of more space because they are cramped (like MM), I personally believe these maps do an amazing job giving the player the vibe for each corresponding game. It’d be nice if they brought back some old features from the lobby like that giant portal haha

I'm gonna have an honest response on this: In some way, the old lobbies were better, however, I sincerely appreciate and see the effort into the new ones. I suggest for at least one game there should be the old lobby and waiting lobby we love and miss.
