I'm going to get straight to the point:
The old lobbies were better then the current ones.
(I know they updated lobbies ages ago but I still haven't come to terms with it)

I'm talking about the minigame lobbies.
BEFORE:
Before the update, the lobbies were light, spacious, warm, and overall welcoming. They gave the server a sense of busyness; there were people everywhere talking to friends, it just felt like a better community; one I would want to be part of.

AFTER:
After the update, the lobbies felt cold, dark and cramped. Whereas in the old lobbies, afk players had plenty of space to stand, now they just fill the place with extra name tags making it hard for players (especially pocket edition players) to see each other and the ''quick play'' NPC.

As you can see the current lobbies are absolute chaos with all the name tags, particles and players. I'm not saying the builds are bad, they're not, it's just they're not fit for a minigame lobby
(It may just be like this for murder mystery I don't know I only play murder mystery)

I know people liked the old lobbies more, but for me, I like the new ones because every lobbies have unique themes based on the game itself. Lobby like Splatter was built based on the Splatoon lobby, DrawAndGuess was built based on art theme. Yes, the old lobbies were great, but it's kind of boring and less interesting if all the lobbies are the same for different minigames.
For lobbies that are too cramped, I'm still thinking if I can fix it, or maybe make a new one for it.

Thanks to all of you for recognising this.
I would love to sign up to be a builder to help, but I have no builds to screenshot. Apart from survival builds, which are limited in size and by resources anyway...

I don’t get how the lobbies are “cold” and “dark”. As Trenz said, Splatter, DrawnGuess and even the BlockParty lobbies are pretty colorful. And people use to cram around the MM QuickPlay NpC in the old lobby too xD
And what’s your suggestion?

As I said in the post, I only play murder mystery.. so I wouldn't know about any other lobbies. My point is that the spawn area in both MM lobbies just feel cramped. I think they should be opened out a little bit, and maybe have a small bit of parkour leading to some other place for players to wait.

maybe vertx can add something “special” for us to do while we wait
UHC
If he adds that then I'll come out of my cave that is murder mystery and actually play something different for the first time in years

Ok: My opinion is that I only think the mm lobby and waiting rooms need to be changed. As he said above, they are cramped and name tags are everywhere and you cant see a thing. I love the other lobbies, I just think the mm lobby and waiting rooms need to be changed/updated.

I 100% agree about the MM lobby & waiting. If I am trying to play MM with a friend not in a party we almost have to have a spot where we meet up before entering the waiting lobby. Then once in the waiting you have to go to the outskirts because that center area where u spawn is super small and crowded. We will discuss this amongst the team and see what we can come up with. Thank you for your feedback.
