Yeee I was surprised that there weren’t any hackers when playing in the party, and it was really fun, playing with other people xd :lmao:

Funny thing is, I get a lot of satisfaction in reporting players that are doing wrong because they bug me a lot. Maybe if more people get into that ‘zone’ , more bad players will be reported and they’ll earn that satisfaction.

I think the server do need more staffs or people who like.. works to ban hackers like with an easy /ban or whatever you ppl do. I barely see any staffs online like I'm dead serious. Maybe there should be one monitoring each game or smt cause when I do see them online, they r like only hanging out in one game and talking with players and stuff. Oh and some are inactive so like.....wtf

I’m just going to put this out there, my greatest advice to others about being staff, is to not be staff at all.

If you want to be staff, then you have to make sure school isn’t interfering with it either. If you’re working 15 hours a day between homework, studying, and helping the BrokenLens Community, stop, and realize that being a staff member on BrokenLens isn’t worth your health. It’s not a great idea to waste your future on something that won’t matter in 10 years.

Now, I usually like to slam staff, I’m going to defend them this time. Although, they are busy with reports like this all the time, you have to keep in mind that most of them actually have lives, and are working to achieve a better future. It’s not an easy job, satisfying everyone by answering tons of reports while probably finishing projects and studying.

So yeah,#stafflivesmatter
until they do something I hate, which always happens

Ik I'm replying late, I have been under a hectic schedule lately, So here's my point of view of Replies of SStaff, Players and Guests in this thread :D :lmao:

First of all, Let me clear this out, that this thread was made by my friend, Lachlan40 as advised by his friends to bring out what he and his friends thought was right, an wanted Staff's an other player's views on this. He summed up what he thinks the server deserves a change in :D

Now, my views are these;

Lachlan did include some incorrect and correct points in this thread I fully agree about. For example, The anti-cheat system, though not as worse as thought to be, unfortunately does need an upgrade. And for getting more staff members, the way I see it, vertx does not get a lot of time to work on the server often. There should be issuing of staff who have intellect and can also help the owner in changing the server. A Coder Rank is just a minor idea :D I hope Gabriel AKA @vertx sees this, as this thread does need his reply. Please tell me if tagging him is a wrong step taken by me:speechless: :x:notworthy::lmao:

And also hackers don't get banned or kicked by the watcher sometimes so I suggest to upgrade the watcher to help staff a little bit :D

I suggest a /alert so a staff would come spec whoever is alerting staff.

Staff are busy everyday, 8-10 hours of sleep, school, homework, and family stuff.
You cant expect staff to be online always, especially when you need them.
There is a hacker? Deal with it and just play. No need to be pissed and die by a fricken hacker that comes and kills you.

Like when people play "Gravity" they hate it because they always die in that map. It is just a game. I love Gravity even if I die.

Also, you think staff can monitor like 3000 people? Those factions server, most of them are just little people unlike Brins which have 3000 people. I dont want many staffs. I want it just the way it is.

Staff are trying there very best to make this server clean and organized. Even if there are that many staffs they would still be offline. Everyone is busy right now. Staff is making time for the server.

The watcher, yea sure it makes mistakes, but we are not perfect as well. No one is perfect.

"There wouldn't be THIS many hackers." Even though they can a hacker it would still come.

Staff shouldn't be just working. They need some free time and play a game. Be grateful that staff would spec you even if they are in a game. They are already doing reports, appeals, and answering questions.

It is not only staff that can make this server better, we have awesome players who are reporting people.

Actually im 99% sure all the recent staff made applications, i know maddie and marco did and im 99% sure dark did. If they just got chosen what would be the point of applications? I know some of the older staff just got convos being like "Hey ur doing good wanna help?"
