It’s not as simple as pushing a button, plus, you've gotta think about the cons about upgrading the anti cheat. What if someone gets falsely banned?

Well look what I said in the thread. You could upgrade the ac in a different way and the AC could send notifications to any online staff and say who is getting suspicious hits and what not and then the humans which are more intelligent than a Minecraft robot can actually see if the player is hacking.

Here's my response:
Firstly, inactivity from staff members aren't exactly the problem, the problem is the poor anticheat system that causes the modders to run around like brats

Reporting is a choice and isn't an obligation, it's the player's choice to help or not, if they do then sweet!They got rid of a cheater and if they don't they suffer

I agree with you on the better anti cheat system, it'd be nice to have him upgraded rather than later to find out there's hundreds of hackers that the unlucky person that has permission to ban has to deal with them later
(Honestly, I rather get kicked more to stop them)

I mean come on, staff members aren't lifeless human corpses that don't have lives outside the internet, I never see a staff member play for fun on the server (I heard they do play on hunger games or whatever but that's besides the point)

While I am flattered that you think I have the responsibility to be a staff member there's much more to that, i certainly don't know anything about it (I haven't even applied yet)

I have to say the idea is good but it wouldn't be as effective as other server has
Brokenlens only has minigames and not a big server (like factions, or kit PvP snd stuff)

Ig that could work, but judging by the amount of times I’ve been kicked, that’d be a whole lot of notifications for staff to sift through xD

I can understand your point that there are tooooo many hackers.
But hey sooner or later we will find a way to ban them all.
I have an example for you which supports your point of view with the watcher.
"You can't stop a fire with oil"

Now there is our point of view.
"You can't stop the fire without knowing where it comes from"

So basically I have to say that we are blind.
Sure sure the watcher can get some extra tuning modifications, but don't you think that it takes much time to create a system that kills the flies without even touching them?
