Ranting because idk lol

TO STAFF AND VERTX : BRLNS NEED MORE STAFF , THIS STAFF NOT enough VERTX WE NEED STAFF TO HELP THE SERVER BC STAFF NOW BE SOMETIMES AFK OR SITTING ON HUB and we call them so they not coming like when I call edw and Marco plz add new staff that's the perfect time to ADD STAFF PLS VERTX PLZ @ssunsett @Laura_Aria @_PineappleDeath_ @vertx @edwjusti @SenpaiBakaa sorry for tagging that's all what I can tell and I hope some new staff come BC ppl applied and VERTX and staff don't accept anyone . ty for reading ^-^ :)

It’s true tho I’ve applied I’ve helped as Much as I can but theirs ppl like crystal or shive I srsly agree with u they need new staff like a bunch of new staff

I believe in 2015-2016 there were originally 8 staff
I believe in 2016-2017 there were 13 more
I believe in 2018 so far theres only been 3 more

I think they should give to the helpers+trial the hability to permban (I don’t understand the point of asking for a permban every time they ban somone?)

You guys know helpers are super limited, right? If we got a bunch of them not that much would even change?

We can’t ban over 7 days or even mute, the reports would still be left for the higher ranked staff - most of the people which are actually ‘worthy’ of the rank are still busy with school or just life in general so whenever we got 1-2 or 20 new helpers everyone would still complain nothing is getting done right. o_O

Reports are answered, ban appeals and questions too.

Alright there is so much worng with this

The command for spectate is /spectate (player name) so if they don't know the player's name or frick if they even know that they are online then guess the damn hell THEY CANT RANDOMLY SPECTATE GAMES
You don't need to be friends with staff to do /tell ssunsett can you come over real quick I have a fly hacker in my game.
Staff on brokenlens don't get paid.
Yes the anticheat needs to be updated and I am going to make a thread about that soon.
Most of the staff that are here now didn't even apply. One of our best staff members, ssunsett, didn't apply for staff (to my knowledge)
The player's you mentioned have long deserved staff :)
Why does a staff member have to see a notification from the anticheat when it could just ban them then and there Owo saves 2 days worth of code

There are some really good points here.


Some forget staff are people like us. They aren't always going to be online, always able to get on the server to ban. Yes, we do have some staff that are inactive, some of them i'm not sure why they have a rank. Yes, staff could defintely be on the server more, and they can't spectate every player at once. (They're also afk on the admin panel/forums too) (also they cant just use a magic stick and /ban, they have to type in the player's name, and stuff). When i'm on the same time as pineapple, i notice her grm
is getting spammed with "Help! Pine! Hacker in my game! Duper!, etc..."
I feel like for the most part, they try their best. They can't do everything, and being a staff is not 100% about banning players.
There's only a few of them and many hackers join the server everyday.
I think that most of them do work hard.

"Better Anti-Cheat"
A better anti-cheat would be amazing and another step to making this server better. I think we can all agree to that.
Coding is difficult, it's not just entering in a bit and you have a brand new watcher. Anti-Cheats have to be able to ban cheaters and not ban innocents. It's hard and takes time to make one. Especially, when you also have to fix bugs and work on other aspects of the server
I think we should wait to see what the "big" update adds. Maybe it will have many improvements in the anti-cheat system. Maybe new staff will be added soon.
We need to stop being so demanding of staff and give them a break. They work very hard and it's good that we have the
staff team we do.

It's okay, don't beat yourself up over it - I think some of the points made were valid (albeit a little harsh) . It's good to let staff know what the community thinks. I think there are more hackers here b/c it is a better server (my opinion) than others. I think Maddie is spot on. More helpers isn't going to make a huge difference. Have patience, wait for them to upgrade the anti-cheat and more players need to report hackers. I look at the player reports- there are quite a few people who report ALLOT of hackers/language etc. Firefox, Lamunz, Blazonier, Strel etc...(sorry if I didn't mention u) The rest of us need to step it up . Every little bit helps. I love the server, and yeah the hackers are super annoying. I, and some of my friends will kill ourselves (in game) to catch a hacker. Another thought - @Sugarz did this the other day. She started a tsw party with 12 people. We played for a couple of hours with no hackers (it was a blast). Just another option if u can't deal with the hackers.

Part of the reason you put this thread up was so that we could figure out what the biggest problems are and I think that was very successful. Plus xD i helped.

When i heard that @vertx do all brlns codes i become rlly suprise from that work that he do alone
So why not if vertx call some1 that he trust to help him on codes . And why not if they use command blocks cuz they rlly help from a mape creator mine.
