I'm not good with words, So this thread might be c♥♥♥. But I'm just gonna say what I think anyway.
@BenjysFrstbrv @lachlan20 and some of my other friends wanted me to create this thread, So it really isn't only me who's hating on the server right now.
Skywars (and other mini games) on the server have been getting hackers lately. And I don't mean just a few. Many, MANY hackers have been going about lately and no one's doing anything about it. "oH We GeT hunDrEDS oF rePORts eVeRy WeeK!" "I'm A sTAfF mEmBeR anD iM oN alMOsT eVeRY dAY!" Being active and playing with friends doesn't mean you're actually monitoring games and spectating them to make sure no hackers are roaming about. "MY fRIEnds CaLL me wHEN tHEres a HaCKer so I caN bAN thEM!" YOURE NOT FRIENDS WITH EVERY PLAYER ON THE SERVER! Are you friends with JakeJason10? Are you friends with MonsterKid178? NO! So now they can't call for help for a staff member! This most likely means that the hacker they need help with will kill the player, Ruin a game and stats, and STILL won't be banned. So the hacker will join another game and do the same over and over and OVER again. This is why we need more active staff members actually moderating games on a regular basis! And I don't mean standing in the hub of the mini game all day.
Back to the "Reports Section" Sure there's lots of people getting reported every day on the forums. But not all players actually report people. Lots of new players and even experienced players (Like Lachlan20, ArMaNdOrM, Etc) don't report people. I bet 1 million dollars that 95% of all players don't actually report players at all. And probably half of those don't even know that the forums actually exists. We can't rely on reports only. Because obviously there are too many hackers and not enough people reporting.
Anti cheat. This server probably has the worst anti cheat I have ever seen. And it needs to be upgraded. Out of all my games, (Thousands) and lots of those games had a hacker, They never got kicked. I've never seen someone get kicked for Kill Aura, No KB, Jump, Tap TP, Checkpoint, Reach, and a bunch of other hacks. Even Lifeb*** has better anti cheat. I've seen some hackers get kicked for Fly, Jesus, and Speed. But that was rare. Most hacked clients have developed resistance to some anti cheat. So now we don't have a working anti cheat either? Great.
Staff. Lots of them aren't as active as they should be and aren't actually monitoring games like they should. Why haven't I seen one staff member in a mini game spectating and monitoring? (You can see GamerTags and Spam Nick's in the options menu) Without calling for help in GRM, (Which lots of people can't since they aren't even friends with them) The staff are almost nothing when it comes to hackers. They just talk to their friends on the server and play mini games instead of spending an hour of their day spectating random games (specifically Skywars since there's hundreds of hackers there) Making sure that everything is OK.

You're not doing it enough. I've never seen a hacker get banned from a Skywars game because a staff was randomly checking up. You have to call out to staff members (and not everyone is friends with staff) And If they actually were doing it on a regular basis, There wouldnt be hackers EVERY game.
Talking about staff members, We need more. Alot more. CrystalCruz, Strelitzia, Prototype, Bxnjamin, Shive, Firefox, Jamie, (Etc) all of those people seem like they would be great staff members.
I've played a few servers on Java Edition, Especially factions, And staff do what I am saying above. They spectate random players once in a while MAKING SURE, They aren't xraying or anything like that. And since they do that, I don't see many hackers on those servers. THIS IS WHAT STAFF IS SUPPOSED TO DO RIGHT?
So we don't have good anti cheat. We don't have that many staff members actually spectating random games (WHICH OTHER SERVERS DO) on a regular basis. Reports aren't always enough. What's happening? Hackers (and other rule breakers) ARE RUINING THE SERVER FOR OTHERS! AND YOU SAY EVERYTHINGS UNDER CONTROL? MORE THAN HALF OF MY DEATHS ON SW ARE BECAUSE OF DUPLICATORS AND HACKERS! THAT ISNT FUN! THATS ANNOYING! THIS SERVER IS MENT TO BE FUN! Lots of my friends are saying they're gonna quit because of this!
Idea: Maybe for the "Huge Update" you could add some type of anti cheat plugin that gives online staff members notifications telling them who they think is suspicious?
Example: AC Notification: Lachlan40 is regenerating too fast. AC Notification: Lachlan40 just jumped higher than the average. AC Notification: Lachlan40 just hit someone from 7 blocks away. AC Lachlan40 has 64 golden apples. (Duplicating) So then staff could go monitor the suspicious player that the anti cheat is talking about. I don't know. It's just an idea.
Something needs to be done. A few of my friends have already left the server temporarily for this.
Before you say, Oh! "I'm sooooo sorry I'm not good enough to ban all the hackers. Realllyy I am. I don't have enough time to spectate games like you say we should."
First of all, why are you even staff then? Isn't this one of the major reasons why you are staff? If you really don't have enough time to make sure peoples stats aren't suffering from rule breakers, Why don't you retire then?

You aren't. If you were you would be doing exactly what I'm saying above. If you were working your butts off, There wouldn't be THIS many hackers.

Stop kissing their butt and wake up. Good staff wouldn't be allowing this to happen and would ACTUALLY be trying to resolve this problem. Staff that do what I say above is who actually tried. Answering little questions isn't the only thing staff are supposed to do. Solving reports that REGULAR players are taking their time out of their day isn't gonna go that great either. Staff members are SUPPOSED to find rule breakers and catch them themselves. Not wait until friends call them over.
"We don't have 20 people on the staff team like Mine**** and all those servers you can't expect 6 or 7 people to clean up the server like that"
If you don't have enough, Then add more! All those people I said above have great potential! If there were more staff members, Staff checking up on mini games more, And maybe a little better anti cheat (AC Notifications etc) Maybe this problem wouldn't be so big.

Ok, If it's impossible to make it better, Staff is just gonna have to try harder. If anti cheat can't ban people easily, Staff are gonna have to try even harder. It's YOUR job to make the server better for everyone RIGHT?

it was YOUR choice to apply for staff. So dont blame it on us if you're having a bad time. Of course there's gonna be players angry like I am. Because you people aren't trying hard enough to get rid of these people. god. If you don't want to deal with people like me, Fix the damn server or retire aleady omfg.

If you really love your players, Listen to what THIS player is complaining about and try to make the server better for your players, instead denying it and moving on without doing anything.
The BrokenLens staff amazing people and are great at helping people in Support threads, Answering questions etc. But moderating games to make sure hackers aren't around really is their weakness. Hackers are EVERYWHERE. And no one's doing a thing about it. I just want it to be as enjoyable to everyone as possible. I really like this server, and I want only for the server to gain players, NOT to lose them.
