so i have come up with a unique idea that i would love to see in murder mystery!

i think there should be another role called the detective. the detective spawns with a magnifying glass, and can see the murderers footprints with it. the detective can chat, but only with the sheriff, and the sheriff can chat, but only with the detective. this way, the detective can work with the sheriff to kill the murderer!

if the detective dies, then people can craft the magnifying glass with 6 gold, or pick it up.

This is actually a good idea! But if you are able to see the trails and track it down from a very far place, then that wouldn’t be fair to try and hide as a murderer. Instead, the Detective can only look at the murderer’s footprints from a radius when it’s near them. Or instead of looking at footprints, you can use this magnifying glass to see a role of a player. Their role will pop above their name and will disappear in 15 seconds, and to look at someone else’s role, you will have to wait 20 seconds.


Idk this is my idea but seeing something new like an addition of a game mode would be cool.

I think it’s a cool idea! Maybe the footprints fade once the murderer leaves the scene? So it doesn’t get confusing for the detective, nevertheless I would actually enjoy this feature

That would be so cool as detective seeing them fade away. A life of someone that unfortunately couldn’t be solved as its last clue fades in the scene and the screams of people.

Tbh. What shape will footprints be? And itd be be hard yes, especially to implement a tracking system with actual visible entities

I really don’t want to cause drama or lock this thread but comments like this make people not want to suggest ideas anymore. Be a bit nicer, give criticism and they will improve the idea. Completely blocking them out is going to make them discouraged. If you want good ideas help them, telling them their idea is “ s♥♥♥ ” is rude.

When you said you changed and are trying to be nicer I was happy to see someone take criticism and improve but you’ve just gone back to square one and are as mean to people as before. It’s not that hard to phrase a sentence nicely. I don’t hate you or treat you differently, I would say the same for anyone who is that rude. if you want a chance at anything, being nice is a key to help. But hey, just report me because I’m giving life advice that is going to help in the long run.

Potato, I think the idea has potential but maybe needs improving a tiny bit, I like murder mystery how it is personally but it wouldn’t hurt to add new things to spice it up lol Ps the footprints could be.. I don’t know.. square?. smh
