Two words:

Turtle Eggs

The bottom of turtle eggs are square and would leave well footprints if you were to erase everything besides the bottom, and change the bottom... black? Dark Brown? Purple? idk, and vertx can use the same command he used in tnt run to have the footprints follow.

But I still don't really like this idea because it is hard for the murderer to win, and this will just make it harder

so i have come up with a unique idea that i would love to see in murder mystery!

i think there should be another role called the detective. the detective spawns with a magnifying glass, and can see the murderers footprints with it. the detective can chat, but only with the sheriff, and the sheriff can chat, but only with the detective. this way, the detective can work with the sheriff to kill the murderer!

if the detective dies, then people can craft the magnifying glass with 6 gold, or pick it up.

I like ur suggest. Brokenlens should add it
