I know it's really bad to ask this here but the thing is, I don't know how else to gather answers.

In school, we have an exam where we have to produce a presentation. The grade we get on this will matter in future when applying for jobs. My presentation is on, "How has society's view of love changed over time?"

In order to get modern day answers, I would like it if you all told me your attitudes towards love. Then, I could catagorise the main feelings and reference them. (I'm sorry again, I'll delete this thread when I'm done)

So, what are your attitudes/opinions towards love?

Love is something you can't really explain... it happens when you meet somebody special who sees you a certain way, and you view them the same way back. A loved one is somebody (not a blood relative) who will do many things for you, help you and always be there when you are in need.

My opinions towards love is it really depends on who the person sees you differently
For example like loving a family member/pet is completely different then liking a crush (etc.)
Or you can love a certain type of food (pizza) :3
Love can mean anything to anyone in da world

that is not love. Love means loving you no matter what. If you don't think anybody else loves you just remember that Jesus will love you no matter what you do. You can't make him stop loving you. you may not believe me now but you will someday I just hope its not to late by then...

Well, a lot of people think love is different things depending on what that entity or item is, but it really isn't.

Love is a feeling that can be for anything. It's unlike sadness, happiness, anger, or pain. It's all of them put into one word which defines the messy relationship of two beings or anything other. Love is something you feel when you feel connected to something, or someone. You will pay more attention to that certain, special person or thing, you will cherish it, you will try to hold onto it for as long as possible, you will try to keep it safe. But sometimes, some people will take it for granted.

A lot of people think that things will last forever. They don't stop to think that the entity they love could, one day, die out. Be gone forever. Which proves that love can be overwhelming, it can distort a person's way of thinking. It can be dangerous.

But at the same time, love can be a beautiful thing. If you're careful, and don't take it for granted, love can make you happy. A life can only truly be lived if there is love in it. Everyone, even sadist or psychopaths, can love something, anything. When they were young, they probably loved a lot of things.

Then you have the love that a lot of people think is wrong. For example, LGBTQ+ love. People think that you shouldn't love someone who is LGBTQ+, but that's not the case. You can't control love, it will go wild no matter how hard you try. In my personal opinion, LGBTQ love is probably one of the more wonderful kinds of love. It shows that you can be free with love, you can love whoever you want, whatever you want, no matter what others think.

People think they can change the world with their opinions. Yeah, maybe. But that doesn't mean you can change the way love works. Cupid can be naughty if he wants. He will make two people fall for each other in the strangest, weirdest ways. But in the end, he will still make them love one another. Because he wants them to be happy.

So don't take love for granted. Don't throw love away like it's nothing. For it's the most powerful feeling someone can feel.

Honestly i dont think there is a exact answer for love honestly love might have tons of meanings not every one experiences the same type of love. They say love is the most beautiful feeling you can ever have in this world and i suppose every single person has to at least experience love but almost when everybody thinks about love people might say oh they mean boy friend and girlfriend but like i said theres lots of types of love so love can be with a family member for example your mother father pet or yes it can be someone you just see irl but most of the times people fall in love just by there fisical which honestly i dont think just that counts i think their way of thinking matters. Also lovee can be one of the most beautiful experiences but just as its beautiful it can be deadly some people cause suicide because because it.
Well honestly i think as time passes there has been lots of changes between love for example before there would be lots of respect back in the old days it would be true love but now theres lots of problems now boys cheat with girls or girls Cheat with boys. There is more violence in relationships now and back in the old days people would be happy and together now some people just use people to have fun or simply just to say "i am in love" or "i have a relationship" and not feeling anything for that person. And now people are accepting gay people lesbian people etc back in the old days people would execute for such thing but as time passes people are accepting it but just like people are accepting it people hate them as well for loving there own s♥♥ or simply not liking there own.
