I know it's really bad to ask this here but the thing is, I don't know how else to gather answers.

In school, we have an exam where we have to produce a presentation. The grade we get on this will matter in future when applying for jobs. My presentation is on, "How has society's view of love changed over time?"

In order to get modern day answers, I would like it if you all told me your attitudes towards love. Then, I could catagorise the main feelings and reference them. (I'm sorry again, I'll delete this thread when I'm done)

So, what are your attitudes/opinions towards love?
 
Love is somethings thats hard to explain. Theres types of love in my opinion, the main ones are true love, and fake love. My attitude towards love is that its simply amazing, you can love ANYTHING. Im glad that love can be one of the emotions humans can feel.

I think love is a great thing that comes in different packages. I hate people who make fun of gay/lesbians(s) I find it really freaking disgusting.
I also hate people who get multiple gf or cheat on there gf *cough cough* tbnrlavawolfie *cough cough* because your meant to have 1 true love at a time

The catorgories of love is something like this

Eros - sexual passion

Philia - deep friendship

Ludus - playful love

Agape - love for everyone

Pragma - long standing love

Philautia - love on ones self

Well, a lot of people think love is different things depending on what that entity or item is, but it really isn't.

Love is a feeling that can be for anything. It's unlike sadness, happiness, anger, or pain. It's all of them put into one word which defines the messy relationship of two beings or anything other. Love is something you feel when you feel connected to something, or someone. You will pay more attention to that certain, special person or thing, you will cherish it, you will try to hold onto it for as long as possible, you will try to keep it safe. But sometimes, some people will take it for granted.

A lot of people think that things will last forever. They don't stop to think that the entity they love could, one day, die out. Be gone forever. Which proves that love can be overwhelming, it can distort a person's way of thinking. It can be dangerous.

But at the same time, love can be a beautiful thing. If you're careful, and don't take it for granted, love can make you happy. A life can only truly be lived if there is love in it. Everyone, even sadist or psychopaths, can love something, anything. When they were young, they probably loved a lot of things.

Then you have the love that a lot of people think is wrong. For example, LGBTQ+ love. People think that you shouldn't love someone who is LGBTQ+, but that's not the case. You can't control love, it will go wild no matter how hard you try. In my personal opinion, LGBTQ love is probably one of the more wonderful kinds of love. It shows that you can be free with love, you can love whoever you want, whatever you want, no matter what others think.

People think they can change the world with their opinions. Yeah, maybe. But that doesn't mean you can change the way love works. Cupid can be naughty if he wants. He will make two people fall for each other in the strangest, weirdest ways. But in the end, he will still make them love one another. Because he wants them to be happy.

So don't take love for granted. Don't throw love away like it's nothing. For it's the most powerful feeling someone can feel.

When I feel in love I try to stay next to the person and get closer and closer to her and once she knows me enought I ask her if she wants to date

I think that love is pretty awesome if you truly love the person and they love you back, not like those idiots that just marry wealthy people. And it doesn't matter if the person's the same gender as you, love is love

I think love is a learning experience for everyone. For some, finding your soulmate can be hard, while for others it could be their first Boyfriend/Girlfriend. In some relationships it can be frustrating, and people might be wondering if they truly love their partner.

Nowadays, gay people are accepted more, and apart from the occaisonal frowns, they can walk around freely.
I also feel like there are more age gaps in relationships *cough* Liam and Cheryl xD *cough* And people are having babies before they get married, whereas in the past, I think it was kind of a tradition to get married first, or at least before the wife gives birth.

Love is strange.

Love is a human emotion that many people desire. It is basically a variety of different feelings and states. It can mean a strong attraction or personal attachment to another soul or it can be a virtue representing kindness. It shows how compassionate you are towards other humans. Love binds us together. True love can be very powerful, you may sacrifice yourself or give away everything for the person you truly love.

You can also have love for an animal or a thing.

Sometimes love can be dangerous. For example : You love someone deeply but later you find out that he/she is in love with someone else. That can mentally destroy you or crumble you from the inside.

Love can be both happiness or sadness.

It is hard to find true love in the society we have created.

idk Love is a mutual feeling in my opinion certain types of love is scary like being in a relationship ect. I find love is sometimes confusing and frustrating unless its like loving a toy or teddy bear you have then no it shouldnt be xD.

Love is like a rollercoaster it has its ups and downs you can get in fights over love but that should make the love stronger.

Love in some contexts is like someone has visited your heart so many times you have become attached to them and when they leave its like your heart is a ghost town.

I feel love in certain ways cause things like depression, just sadness and anger.

Love is a war you choose to be at peace or fight all the time mm i experience the second one a lot its nasty.

I've never felt true love towards anyone I only let it out for people who truely care someone who understands what I go through.

I guess love is a gift that you give to someone or something it makes the connection between you and that person or thing stronger choosing who you give it too is key if you give it to a drug addict who takes you round the back of tesco to smoke weed you made a bad choice ._.

and im terrible at this subject because i never think of it so thats all i got.

Love is not only about s♥♥, kissing, and dating.
Love has to be used wisely. Love can unite people, but also destroy them.
Don't joke about "I love you". It can hurt.
Love has to be felt from inside.
Fake love is when people love one each other for their body or materialistic things.
You have to love person for who he is.
There was an article on news web (Lithuanian) that one girl left the person that she really loved for a richer one... that made me really sad. "what a ♥♥♥♥♥"
It's sad that some couples are staying "for the s♥♥".
Really.
Divorce rate over here is 5/10.
It's sad.
One setence what I think about love. It has to be true, genuine, and felt from the inside.

Welllll it depends on wat chur loving! If your loving a friend, then its different then bf/gf. Same thing if you love a pet/animal/idk. That's my description on love. (its soooo great ._. xD)
