There is two options that it's possible to get your rank in forums:

Your forum username should be the same username as in your username in server. If your main forum account has different username, you could create another account for your rank in forums.
Or
You could ask in a conversation with @vertx to set a rank on your forum account manually(or you could wait instead since I tag him in this thread).
