On our forums and on the server we BrokenLens staff have specific roles. Some of these roles require special commands and permissions.

I am making this post to explain to you who you are to tag in your posts depending in the situation. In this post I will be explaining the roles of each staff member and what their main job on BrokenLens is.

So, what roles are there on BrokenLens?

The current staff roles that we have on BrokenLens and all staff in highest to lowest ranking format is:
[Ranks Are Server Wide]

OWNER [Currently the only owner is @vertx]
ADMIN [Consists of @edwjusti @WarriorGirl3333 @Plushtrap_123 and @Flowingmedia]
MOD [Consists of @Ray_Palmer_Atom @ZikoGaming {@xxliazaliaxx Retired} @LeonaPlayz @OfficialJoey]
TRIAL [Consists of @DarkTdmPlays @Laura_Aria @HazardTheDutchAD]
HELPER [Consists of @DrollTheTroll {@Aypifox Inactive on forums} @ender_bintang {Also Inactive} and @RazzleBerryFox]

So now you know the whole staff team now I bet your wondering what each staff members job is on BrokenLens.

The Owner part of the BrokenLens Development Team

vertx works as an developer for BrokenLens. He creates everything you see on the server along with help from the staff team. This server wouldn't be what it is today without him. vertx is always working on the server even when you can't see it, working on new updates and minigames for everyone on the server to enjoy. He is mainly spending his time on bug fixes for the server so it is very helpful when you report a bug to us.

The ADMIN Team

The Admins are second in charge of the server. they can help with the following issues that might come across during your time on BrokenLens:

  • Resetting the password to your account on the BrokenLens Network.
  • Removing your profile or an post on your profile If Asked.
  • Deleting Adverts from another users profile on the forums.
  • Resetting your warning points to earn the YT Rank.
  • IP-Ban and Temp ban users on BrokenLens.
  • mute players on BrokenLens.
  • Remove threads from the forums.

Admins also make the decisions on certain things that happen on the server like enabling or disabling a certain command [Staff Only]

The MOD Team

The Mods or Moderators as they are mainly known are managed by the Admins. An moderator helps to protect the server from Hackers,Glitch abusers and players swearing or being inappropriate. Usually Moderators are active on the forums when they get a chance managing the "Hack Reports" and "Ban Appeal" section of the forums. A moderator can:

  • Deleting an Advertisers profile on the forums.
  • Removing an certain comment or profile post.
  • Monitoring the Hack Reports section on the forums.
  • IP and Tempban players from BrokenLens if required.
  • Can mute players on BrokenLens if required.
  • Lock or unlock threads on the forums.
  • Edit any threads on the forums (Including posts).
All moderators on the server have the MOD tag so they should be easy to spot when they want you to see them.

The TRIAL Team

The rank TRIAL is an rank that is given to Moderators In Training. Training mods cannot do as many commands as an MOD can but they still have access to certain commands and permissions. As an TRIAL mod they have limited commands:

  • Can move or remove a comment from an profile post.
  • Can remove an profile post.
  • Can edit threads (Not Delete Them).
  • Can warn players on forums.
  • Can Temp-ban players on BrokenLens (Within reason and proof).

Trial moderators are still in Training so if any trial mods make an mistake they cannot undo it's best to contact an ADMIN.

The HELPER Team

Helpers are on the server to answer any questions that you may have or want to ask about BrokenLens. Helpers will have an bright green tag in full capital letters so you can tell when one is around. Helper are there to help you on questions or complaints you may have about the server. Their duty's are:

  • Answer any questions a player might have about BrokenLens.
  • Temp-ban a player if needed to.
  • Answer any questions on BrokenLens that you may have about the BrokenLens
  • Monitor the "Support" section of the forums.
  • Monitor the "FAQ" Section of the forums.

I hope this post helps you to now understand who you should have to contact in case of requiring any members of the staff team on BrokenLens.

These ranks below are NOT classed as members of the staff team but can be found on the server:

  • GOLD
  • DIAMOND
  • EMERALD
  • YT

She didn't quit being an admin. She got demoted and then later promoted again to helper on the servers.

First they do have a rank but ONLY in game
Second months ago Laura aria discovered one because I made a thread about ranks and vertx replied saying a player with a secret rank

That's probably because she's off building something for vertx.
Why not add her anyway, but without describing what the rank looks like? She is still technically a staff member after all.

Well depending on if you consider Builders staff or not, but most people do ._.

I'll leave that decision for the admins because they have complete freedom to decide on what needs editing on the post.
