Updates in the discord?

Yeah, It will be interesting to see how that plans out. Personally I would really like to have that community open back up. That would be really fun even if it would be tricky to moderate and maintain.

I used to join other unofficial discord servers to try and have a similar experience (as the official BrokenLens discord has been closed since last November.) although those communities were far more toxic (Hazmat suit probably required at that point.) than the BrokenLens discord and it really was just a mess. I would just constantly get creepy messages from alts and the amount of harassment that I along with other members of the staff team have received on Discord is something that definitely poses a real concern not only for ourselves but for the greater community as a whole.

In my personal opinion, I'm not too sure about the logistics even if I wholeheartedly support expanding the outreach of the BrokenLens community through Discord and through other social media platforms.
Edwjusti founded the server's discord server, Twitter, and a few other services although they have not been actively maintained due to Edwjusti kind of retiring from that position.

I feel like an appropriate course of action for now would be for those platforms not to be advertised or accessible until the rest of the team and the server owner feels comfortable with keeping things under control. There's definitely a lot that I have learned about discord and about online communication as a whole in the last seven months although we'll have to take quite a bit into consideration if we decide to re-open those platforms based on the factors I previously mentioned.
