Kai cursed and left the examination room, feeling deflated. He felt a tap on his shoulder; it
was Bark.
"That test on quadratics was a pain!" Bark whined. "I hope I didn't get the lowest mark."
Again, just like all the other victims, the two of them found themselves in the deserted
parking lot. At least there'll be no chance of any lights turning off.
Unfortunately, before Kai could mention this, she saw Bark fall on her face, a knife deep in
her back. Kai broke off into a run, glancing behind him. A tall sturdy figure covered in black
was sprinting after him, a knife glinting in his hand. Kai screamed as the knife pierced his
back, and just like Bark, he fell over. The last thing he heard were high-pitched cackles and
humming.
