Everyone gathered in the school kitchens for the voting. They all avoided eye-contact,
glancing at a large butcher knife that rested on a chopping board. Attached on both sides of
the chopping board was a metal clamp. A pair of handcuffs were secured on the cupboard
door handles below the chopping board.
"Let me read tonight's votes," the voice said. There was a pause.
"Idontlikecurry has the most votes!"
Everyone stared at him. He stared back with glassy eyes, betrayed.
"Barksketoez, since you enjoyed last night's voting, would you be so kind as to handcuff him?
Oh, and you can clamp his head on the board Krise."
Without resisting, Idontlikecurry was handcuffed and clamped, his head on the board,
exposing his neck.
"Fox, would you like to behead him?"
Fox gulped and grabbed the knife. Idontlikecurry closed his eyes as the blade was brought
down on his neck. Everyone winced as his body slipped off the counter.
"Bedtime!" the voice said cheerfully, and everyone exited the kitchens.

The next test was a grammar test. Everyone struggled to gain a high score; some even
guessed the whole test. The bell rang and everyone left the exam room, feeling deflated. Only
one person was smiling brightly.
"Hey Gray," Evie tapped Gray's shoulder. "Thanks for sitting next to me. I copied your
answers and now we'll both pass!"
Gray looked at her, his eyes growing wide.
"You what?!" he said. "You do know I'm trash at grammar, right?"
"WHAT?!" Evie yelled, sending looks in her direction. "You told me you aced English in high
school!"
"English, not grammar you poop!" Gray retorted. "Guess we're both gonna die!"
They found themselves in an empty corridor. The lights flickered on and off, and an eerie
humming echoed around the walls.
They swore and started to run, but it was no use. The lights went out and there was a blood-
curling scream. One of the murderers shrieked in happiness as she stabbed Evie four times in
the chest. The other murderer was much more calmer. He sliced Gray's throat, sending his
lifeless body to the ground. The lights turned on again. The female murderer's hoodie was
stained red.
"Let's go wash up then." the male murderer sighed, looking at the mess his partner made.
She giggled and let her partner lead the way out of the corridor.
