Ray and Pixie sat opposite each other in Ray's room. They were playing the classic Rock, Paper, Scissors, and Ray was hopelessly losing.
"Come on! Tenth time's the charm!" Ray muttered to himself, as Pixie laughed.
"Ray, it's third time's the charm. And that was a long time ago," Pixie chuckled, as she chose rock while Ray chose scissors.
"WHY ME?!?!" Ray cried, cupping his face in his hands. Pixie patted him on the back as she laughed.
"Because one, you asked to play this and two, you're a stupid, very unlucky Mermaid," Pixie said. Ray glared at her through the thin spaces in between his fingers.
"I did not! You were the one who brought it up in the first place!" Ray's voice sounded muffled from inside his palms.
"Yeah you did, I just asked what game we should play and recommended Rock, Paper, Scissors. You were the one who chose to play it. We could've played something else, you know?" Pixie said. Ray secretly rolled his eyes.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever."
"Well, since you're hopeless at this, wanna play I Spy instead?" Pixie asked. She scanned the room for an object to start with, if Ray agreed.
Looking up from his hands, Ray just looked at Pixie then shrugged.
"Sure, why not," Ray spotted some mismatched socks leaking from the drawer. He chose to start with those.
"Who goes first?" Ray heard Pixie ask.
"Well, since I am such a gentleman, ladies first," Ray grinned. Pixie rolled her eyes.
"All right, Mr. Gentleman. I spy something coloured with the richest hue of white," Pixie smirked. There were tons of things in her room that were coloured in white, Ray was going to need much more than 3 guesses...
"That jacket on the back of your chair?" Ray asked. Pixie stared at him in disbelief.
"Y-You're right..." Pixie stammered. Ray looked at her, shock and disbelief coursing through his veins.
"Wait, what?" Ray eventually choked out. Surely he didn't guess it right on his first try, surely Pixie was pranking him?
"You got it correct..." Pixie mumbled. When that registered in Ray's mind, he fist pumped the air.
"YES! OH MY GOSH, YES!" Ray exclaimed, a bit louder than he'd expected. He covered his mouth. "Oops."
"Well anyway, it's now your turn, Mermaid. Go ahead," Pixie's eyes looked around for something Ray would say.
"I spy some colourful entities, poking their head out the door of their home," Ray grinned. "They come in pairs of different shapes and sizes." Pixie's eyes wandered, until they locked onto something she was sure was the answer.
"The mismatched socks sticking out my drawer," Pixie grinned at Ray. "I got it right, didn't I?"
"Yup, good job. Your turn," Ray congratulated Pixie. Pixie chose her laptop next.

Plush opened his door, expecting his daily visitor, but got greeted by a group consisting three people - two guys, one girl - instead.
"Um, hi," Plush said. A sudden wave of nervousness coursed through him. He was never the type who'd speak unless spoken to, and even so, he had always been pretty shy.
"Hi, I'm Shielo. This is Strike and Jc. This was supposed to be a one-woman-mission, but these two decided to tag along. From the name on your door, I assume you're Plush, the guy who nobody really talks to," the girl smiled. The two guys behind her waved.
"Hai," Jc said, as Strike said, "Hello."
"Nice to meet you guys," Plush said. "And yes, I'm Plush, but I do talk to people, okay?"
"Really? Like who?" Shielo asked.
"Warrior, my sisters, uhhh..." Plush thought for a moment. He really didn't talk to that many people. He was normally really quiet and anti-social.
"See? You talk to practically no-one!" Shielo rolled her eyes. Plush shrugged and scratched his head.
"So why are you here?" He was genuinely curious about why Shielo even thought to come to his door in the first place. It wasn't like he was an interesting person to talk to.
"I want a friend?" Shielo grinned sheepishly, which made Plush chuckle.
"You have two right behind you," Plush motioned to Strike and Jc, who'd stood like statues and stayed silent.
"Actually we aren't friends," Strike spoke up. Shielo, Jc and Plush looked at him, confused.
"We're awesome people who are in the same circle," Strike smiled widely, while Shielo and Jc facepalmed. Plush just looked at him in a weird way.
"That just means we're friends, Idiot." Jc rolled his eyes but laughed at Strike's stupidity. Or maybe he was doing it on purpose. Either way it was pretty funny.
"Really? I never knew," Strike was obviously faking. This made Plush and Shielo join Jc in laughing. Strike just grinned at his victory.
Warrior just happened to be passing by when she saw the four of them wearing smiles, and curiousity got the better of her.
"Hey, what're you guys laughing about?" Warrior asked, as she walked up to the group.
Plush calmed down his laughter before telling Warrior the joke. After hearing it, Warrior chuckled slightly, but that was all.
"Not the best joke I've heard, but not the worst either. Where'd you get it?" Warrior said to Strike, who shrugged in reply.
"My brain, where else?"
"You could've found it on Google."
"Point taken."

It was 2 in the afternoon, and Wolfie was bored out of his wits. He had spent the whole morning arguing with Aypi about whether or not Wolfix - Aypi's ship name for him and Pixie - was real. It was beyond obvious that it was fake, so Wolfie didn't know why she even bothered. Now he had nothing to do.
"Why did I agree to this..." Wolfie muttered to himself. Really, he'd been kind of forced into it by his parents. They were tired of him going on blind dates and coming home literally 20 minutes later. He didn't see why he needed a girl friend so desperately, though.
Wolfie turned on his laptop and opened it. He decided to check the website which held all the information about this... game? Wolfie wasn't entirely sure what it was he'd joined really.
After letting it boot up, Wolfie opened Chrome on his laptop and searched "you love you lose website" and let it load. He clicked on the first thing that showed up.
The page read:
"Welcome to the official You Love You Lose website!
If you didn't know, You Love You Lose is a reality TV game show-"
Wolfie stopped. Wait, all of this... was on TV? What?! Nobody told him this. Does this mean that Ray has been embarassed countless times on TV? Damn. That's actually funny.
But how? There was never some recording crew or whatever. How was everything recorded and put up on TV? What the actual heck? Wolfie looked back at his laptop screen.
"-hosted by Tantastic. There are 24 constestants and every month, every constestant who has fallen in love with another constestant is eliminated. The game goes on for a whole year, and all constestants remaining at the end of the year are the winners.
This year, 2017, is the start of Season 2. What does this year's constestants have in store for us? Tune in to channel 702 every Friday night to find out!"
Wolfie paused. Wait a minute, there had been a finished Season 1? When was this thing started...? Wolfie shook the thought from his head. He was going to find out while reading the website sooner or later, so might as well continue reading.
"Here is this year's list of constestants in alphabetic order with their picture next to their name:
1. Aypifox
2. Carter
3. Elania
4. Ice
5. Jc
6. Kendra

Although one has gone out of bounds of the game, so she is no longer a constestant. Her name has been crossed out with a line across her name.
So, this year there's only going to be 23 actual constestants. Don't worry, it'll still be as exciting.

Before Wolfie could click on the origins story, there was a knock at his door. Noticing the time, Wolfie closed the tab and stood up to open the door.
"Let me guess, dinner time?" Wolfie asked. Sara nodded. Wolfie got out of his room and closed the door behind him before going to the dining room.
