Weeks past, and soon one month was gone. Just like that. Poof. Time flies when you're doing something fun.
Pixie and Wolfie became pretty close, talking to each other daily, and also being idiots together. Pixie also shoved a pie into Wolfie's face, which got her a punch in the arm, but in her opinion it totally was worth it.
Laura had called her mum and talked to her for a while, before hanging up and trying to figure out the guy in her contacts list. She ended up changing the name to "Mysterious Dude" which really suited whoever that was.
Ray had continued hanging around Lia and even through all the jokes, he somehow had decent conversations with her. Okay, Lia may have accidentally walked in on him half naked, so what? Don't worry, the half that was covered was Ray's lower parts. Thankfully. So it wasn't much of a surprise when Lia realised she was falling deep... in love.
Strike and Shielo became good friends, and talked a lot. They would find the stupidest things to laugh about, like those videos in the trending section of youtube which aren't even that funny, or dumb memes they found while surfing the net together.
Kendra chilled with Jc most of the time, although she did engage in a few arguments when she was either bored or wanted to make a point, her point, clear. She also found herself falling for Jc, making it a bit awkward sometimes when she was near him. At least for her, anyway.
Rundas and Elania were like besties, talking a ton, hanging out a ton, and doing what best friends do, whatever that is. They also managed to successfully prank Ray, which made them mini celebrities at the place for a while. Here's what they did:
At the time, Elania and Rundas were leaning against the dining table, talking and being punny. When Elania noticed Ray standing up and explaining he was leaving the living room for a moment, a prank struck her mind. Rundas raised his brow when she told him about it, but laughed at it anyway and gave her his cup of water.
Elania walked out the dining room, walking in Ray's direction. Ray tried walking to the side of her, but Elania purposely bumped into him anyway. Somehow she managed to get the water to spill on Ray, but not on her, even though the cup was stationed dangerously close to her.
Wanna know where the water hit Ray? There. That place. Yep. Elania burst out laughing while a reddened Ray rushed to his room. Rundas was on his knees laughing, too. Of course, someone just had to have witnessed the whole ordeal, and that someone was Laura. She told everyone, who laughed their butts off. After Ray returned, cheeks still red as a rose, everyone just laughed more.
After that, wherever they went people acknowledged them, and they become mini celebrities. They never thought they could be, but anything can happen at any moment, you just need to expect the unexpected.
Plush stayed in his room most of the time, although Warrior would visit him occasionally. She was like his personal news reporter, she told him about everything happening beyond the door that kept Plush away from it all. They shared plenty of laughs, tears (mostly of joy), and smiles. Warrior learned Plush's favourite book, while Plush learned Warrior's favourite pastime.
Carter, Ice, Leo and Strelitzia would hang out as a group in the living room a lot, although Strelitzia would sometimes stay on her phone for a long while before paying attention to the other three, who'd be discussing a pretty hilarious topic compared to the conversation-starting topic.
Out of all of the four, Ice was the most talkative, Leo landing a respectable second place. Ice was also the most humorous. She was the reason for the mirthful (cheerful) laughter they all shared. This made Carter interested in her, falling for her. Plus, Ice talked to Carter the most. They shared the most likes and dislikes, interests and things they find absolutely boring.
Mooney was that one person you just have to be friends with. She was hilarious, talkative, and just awesome in general. She would think of the best things to talk about, and everyone loved her. But, there were people she hung out with more than others. Those people come in a pair:
Manwee and Waffels.
Manwee just seemed chill around Mooney, but liked talking to her all the same. They go on and on about well, anything, really. The same goes for Waffels when he was with Mooney. The only difference was that Waffels liked Mooney, and when I say like, I mean like-like. As in a crush.
He did admit to Typi that he was a tad bit jealous when he saw Manwee with Mooney. Typi was his go-to gal to talk to when he wasn't talking with Mooney, and didn't feel like talking to someone else.
Rouge was pretty mad she hadn't gotten neither her pizza nor her money, but she knew she could only get out (and murder Lauren) when she fell in love. That was one part of this she hated — she had to fall in love to get out, unless she was willing to wait a whole year.
Even though she spent much time mourning over her lost pizza, Rouge found time to hang out with Rundas occasionally. She also was apart of a few arguments, and maybe even a fist fight (which she won). Maaaaayyyyybeeeee. There's still that 10% chance she wasn't.
Aypi was just glad she hadn't gotten in any trouble for helping Lauren escape. She spent most of the month trying to get it out of her system, but she kept hearing people talking about "someone disappearing", or "someone escaping". She did spend some time with people to try to get the topic off her head, although some were failed missions, the topic raised when there wasn't a topic to talk of anymore.
Typi talked a lot. She probably talked the most, actually. She communicated with everyone yet kept many secrets. She probably talked with Elania the most, Elania was the first friend she made after all. They weren't particularly close, but they were good friends.
"Well then, a whole month has gone by, meaning people are going to get eliminated!" Tan said in a rather merry voice. "One by one, you'll be asked one question: have you developed a crush on anyone? I have a lie detector with me, so please don't lie."
"This shouldn't be too bad. I mean, surely, it can't take that long?" Shielo said to Strike, who was standing next to her. Strike observed the lie detector closely.
"Probably. Besides, it's just one question — a 'yes' or 'no' question to be exact. And those are normally not hard to answer at all, depending on the question," Strike said as the first person, a female who Strike knew to be named Pixie, walked up to Tan to answer the question. Tan strapped a band around her wrist for the lie detector to work.
Pixie answered the question, and Tan checked the lie detector then dismissed Pixie. Someone else walked up to Tan and repeated the process. This happened until the last person.
"23 people, just right," Tan smiled.
"Well, nobody lied, which I find rather impressive actually," Tan announced. "The people eliminated are—" Tan was interrupted with the sound of a gunshot. "What the..."
Several gunshots were heard, before a girl busted through the front door. Tan's eyes widened while a smirk appeared on Rouge's face.
"Hey Lauren, where's my pizza?" Rouge shouted. She could see Lauren had a bag slung on her shoulder. Taking out the pizza, Lauren walked to Rouge and gave it to her. Rouge noticed Lauren had a gun in her hand.
"Hey, what's with the... hold on, did you just kill innocent people, Lauren?!" Rouge shouted, clearly pissed off. Lauren shrugged.
"Well actually, I just shot them in the stomach so that they'd fall unconsious and I could get through. Besides, I'm not really experienced with this," Lauren nodded her head at the gun. "But the main reason for this is because I value my life." Lauren handed the bag to Rouge. "Money's inside the bag. Hope you're happy. I gotta run now, bye." Lauren ran out the door.
Tan sighed, knowing his guards were down, and couldn't go after Lauren. Muttering something to himself, he went back to what he was saying.
"Lia, Kendra, Ice, Carter, and Waffels. Those are the people who have been eliminated. Now you can go pack up, say goodbye to your friends, maybe even admit to whoever it is you like, and go."
Waffels sighed in frustration and stomped up the stairs. Kendra went to hug Jc which surprised him, but her confession surprised him even more. Lia was honestly just glad she could get away from Ray. Ice and Carter just walked upstairs, talking with a pretty happy tone, their hands just barely grazing each other's.
Tan was now on the phone, and Rouge could hear him complaining to someone about Lauren. Rouge just hoped Lauren would be alive by the end of this game, because it was her job to murder her, not anyone else's.
Everyone started talking to each other, congratulating each other for getting to the next month, and wishing them good luck. Rundas and Elania sat down on the couch, discussing the people eliminated.
"Honestly, this is unrealistic. How can people fall in love in only one month?" Rundas complained. Elania looked at him.
"Maybe they were drugged?" she offered. Rundas looked at her in a weird way, and shook his head.
"No way..." he thought about it. Yes, it was possible, but would Tan really have drugged them? Rundas looked at Tan, a bit uneasy. He shook his head. "No, Tan did not drug them. There was no way he could've."
"No way? You know those drinks they provided at that place we all went to before coming here on the first day? There could've been drugs in five of the glasses." Elania looked worriedly at Rundas. She was right, he could've drugged them, but he could've not.
"Anyway, let's not worry about that right now. We both said we'd win this, so good luck, Rundas," Elania sighed. Rundas simply nodded and got up, then began walking to his room.
