Secondly, why are you going to make a map based on a truce, and then design it to have people fight there, disrespectful. You know this happened in real life right?
Maybe you should avoid making maps based on this if you're not going to respectful or accurate. Please be careful

Tomorrow, it’s the eightieth anniversary of the start of World War II. Both world wars have been very traumatizing, especially for those who’ve suffered the most, like jews, homosexuals or members of the resistance. I know a lot of us have a great grandfather, a great grandmother who died in the war.

You’re not the only one being interested by these periods, because it was a turning point of the history. My father also really likes to learn about them and I can’t even count the number of world wars related museums I’ve visited during the holidays xD

I wish you could understand that we do not want you to stop talking about the wars, because it’s your right to share things you’ve learnt and it’s our duty to listen. But, please, you need to understand that World War I and World War II are not something you can joke about.
Posting memes, maps and skins about it does not really respect what happened.

War history is something fascinating, it really is something to marvel; even if the entire concept is rather grim, killing your fellow people for a cause that may even be against your personal code of conduct and what you consider is right. I don't know what your goal is with this map, but from the replies it seems like you're doing it in poor taste, I suggest not doing it.

You can joke about the deaths of millions in your own little groups, as long as it stays that way then we will have no problem at all. But this is a public forum, everyone can see this. I suggest re-thinking what you're about to do, and if you're still going to make a World War 1 inspired map I suggest doing research so as to do it respectfully and not tick off a few people.

For now, my stance is neutral. But heed my words: Even though World War 1 and 2 ended a long time ago, some people may still hold it near and dear to them. Please do it justice.

Don’t make a map dedicated to any wars please. It’s a very sensitive topic and the truce was good but, it took place on no mans land where millions of people were killed. Just get muted your annoying as f**k
