After waiting 5 whole years, it was finally time: She could go compete in this ruthless gambling competition or whatever.
When they arrived, she looked at the entirety of the casino and then back at her letter of invitation. The casino was ginormous, and neon lights lit up the area. Grand fountains spewed out water, and palm trees lined the entrance. She was let in, and she flashed her invitation letter at the man just pass the front door. He lead her to a different part of the casino an she was seated at a table with a white cloth draped over it. Other people were seated at other tables, and one other was seated with her.
Suddenly, the lights went out. Everyone gasped, as they thought it was a power outage, but the woman gave a small grin.
“Welcome, gamblers, to the _____ casino!”
People looked around for the source of the voice.
“I am the owner of this place: Thai (*cough cough*), and all 30 of you will gamble for $100,000,000 each (yeah I changed it so my life will be harder)!”
A figure with black hair jumped down, and when they looked up, they had a mask on (like Joker’s mask from persona 5). They reached their gloved hand into their pocket and whipped out a card.
“All of you will be assigned a important role, but no telling anyone! Of course, some roles will have to have you know your fellow role mates, so get to know them well! Now, take the card on your lap,”
(Ace=pit boss, king=floor person, queen=dealer, 10=croupier, joker=cheater, rest of cards=gambler)
The woman noticed a card on her lap (just as Thai had said) and looked at it. The Ace of Spades looked back at her. She gave a small chuckle and let the card cut her finger a little. A name was written on it, and she looked at the person who’s name was written on the card. The 2 gave small nods at each other.
“Now, you will all go to your rooms and be served dinner, and after that, the gambling will begin!”
Thai then whipped his hand up at the ceiling, and a grappling hook came out and dragged him out of the room. The lights lit up, and everyone was escorted to their rooms.

“Thank you, this looks delicious.”
Nooch and his roommate sat at a fancy table in their rooms and ate together and discussed about winning. Soon, the food was gone, and Nooch felt drowsy.
“Ima hit the bed, you wake me up when it’s time.”
Nooch slapped his body onto his bed and instantly fell asleep.
Later...
“Hey, wake up.”
Nooch’s roommate tried to wake him up, but with no luck
“It’s 10 minutes till we have to go down.”
Nooch didn’t move. His roommate then noticed that his body was quite cold. They fought back the urge to faint and bursted out of the room and grabbed the nearest staff member.
“Help, help! My roommate... I think he’s dead!”
“Go on down, we’ll handle this.”
“Thank you...”
The person went down to where everyone was supposed to meet up, but felt as if something was off...
“Thank you for choosing to participate in this event! Unfortunately, we must start off with some bad news.”
Thai was in the middle of a gigantic roulette table, and everyone watched from the sides.
“Unfortunately, our friend Nooch has perished before the gambling started. He can no longer participate. However, that means more chances of you all getting the grand prize!“
Before anyone could ask questions, Thai gave a little wave, and the floor opened beneath him, and he fell down. The floor then shut back closed.
Then, Thai’s voice filled the area.
“You are all to step upon each roulette space of this table. Once everyone has a spot, the ball will be dropped and will land in one of the pockets! Whichever pocket the ball lands in, that person will suffer a consequence...”
Each space on the roulette table lit up. Every person stepped on one. Suddenly, a glass capsule closed above everyone to ensure they could not leave their spaces. The side next to each space started spinning, and a white ball was attached to it. It then was released, and fell into the pocket of...
Everyone was dismissed and was sent back to the top floor of the normal gambling area, but was in shock with the 2 deaths that occurred. Who would be next?

Molly began to tear up, but then, the space beneath her opened, and she fell, her screams growing quieter and quieter as she fell.
“Unfortunately, Molly can no longer win, but it is very clear that you all have one simple role:“
