Maybe you're wondering, "Lia, why do you keep trying to convince people not to leave?" or "Why do you stay positive?" Simple, really. One word: Before.

Before BrokenLens, I played on another server. I made so many friends due to my pvp. They didn't care that I was awkward and weird. They cared about who I really was. I had never been so happy. Then, I took it all for granted.

I left the server for so long. Days turned into weeks and weeks into months. Then, I realized how badly I missed it. I went back to find it. It was gone.

Just like that, every friendship I ever had, every memory of mine - gone.

The server had shut down because of the pressure of haters and the new updates. Its popularity was slipping.

That's why I want you guys to stay so badly and stay hopeful. Because, at that time, I didn't get a choice to leave the server...

The server left me.

solution: exchange contacts. I have so many old internet friends whom I'm still in contact with thanks to Skype/kik/snapchat/insta/etc.
