Why was I muted

I was playing MM and then this player named Anxiedy started asking if I was muted yet. It took about 20 minutes before I was muted. The only vulgarity I remember saying in the chat was "*FAPS*” (I meant this as a joke). So was this the reason I was muted?

Faps means another way of saying masturb*****. Even though you take this as a joke as long as it is inappropriate it will still count as mutable. I think this is the reason why you’ve got muted.
