Why did you feel that it was necesary to block all 4d skins again? Why do you hate them so much? Why are you so persistent in blocking them? Those who had them all wore them responsibly, never once did you see a giant truck enter skywars or mm. And most people seem bummed out that you’ve decided to go ahead and block them entirely. It was a harmless thing that bothered nobody. It’s not a glitch or hack. They’re cosmetics, and funny looking skins. Where’s the harm in that? All we wanna do is have a cool skin, but you are repeatedly trying to ruin our fun for no reason.

Honestly, I don't have a problem with a little fun. Of course some skins could end up causing the server to lag and using them in game will get you banned. But like you said, everyone was being responsible in the lobbies. I didn't have a problem with it.

I'd assume its performance related

yes vertx unblock the 4d skins we arent gonna crash the server cuz it wont be fun for us anymore, brlns is the only server (that i know off) supports many versions of minecraft and were my friends are also at. i even wanted to invite many more rl friends to show them the 4d skins and have fun with it, or like i wanted to make a video about how fun 4d skins are in brlns, but now i c a n t cuz its blocked. if u see someone using the 4d skins wrong like if it causes lagg just warn the person and if they still arent going to change it ban them?

I see, but the only skin that caused lag and performance drops was sans, which i didn't release to anyone and didn't tell anyone how to fix an existing laggy skin.

I mean, what were you saying about people not using them in game?

I suppose you guys crossed a line right there
The first picture includes 2 skins that were following skin guidelines, they were not too big or too small. As for the last 3, that player played a game in the most harmless game a 4d skin could be in. Having that skin gave him no advantage over other players and didn't lag the server.

I didn't know about those. But im not surprised, there will always be someone xD.
I can still confirm that nearly all of the people who downloaded it from tie on the forums used them responsibly and knew not join a game.

That makes sense, but it's not an official rule or anything. i'm not sure if that would cause confusion with the rules.

tie has a point here. theyre harmless. now, some may cause lag, but thats only to the mobile players (and if you have a potato pc). theyre for fun, theyre not meant to cause damage. idk, thats just my opinion.

I agree with the harmless fun part and im totally for it. But if it affects mobile players that could be an issue, and like i previously said the rules for using them in game could be complicated

Most aren't too big anyways, the one's we're using specifically, so it should be very minor, or close to no change in lag/connectivity, even for myself running on a slow network, and even mobile at times, I've had no complications while testing on a mobile device nor pc with the 4d skins used during the sessions I've played, however rules on what ones should be allowed ingame(s) or not.

Like what Ally has said to me, not to use them in pvp (large / small skins), but my opinion to this:
if it fits 1-3 block tall, it should be fair enough for players, and not cause an issue with anyone, as long as it isn't an unfair skin. (aka mainly invisible or very slim)

From time, I will tell them to be careful around with these skins even if they were harmless. And yes, I even told Abdel (the one that used the tank on KK) to be cautious about using it in game even if it was harmless. I’m ok with it, it’s a good laugh but that’s just me. Since I’m new, I still don’t know what’s acceptable or not. I kinda miss them already.

Some 4D skins also make it harder to pvp someone with a 4D skin too, their hit box isn’t that obvious sometimes, I’m sure that’s a major reason they’re not allowed.
Understandable, but why not just make guidelines on what 4d skins are allowed specifically? For example skins like these should be allowed because the hitboxes are showing clearly.

Maybe not allow something like this even though it does meet skin guidelines, but hitboxes aren't outlined clearly.

And then just warn/ban those who don't wear appropriate skins just like any other skin?

Omg that chicken skin looks amazing

There are probably other complicated reasons why vertex doesn’t allow 4D skins that we don’t know of yet.

It's probably because of microsoft, they really hate 4d skins for some reason
