Why people do this

So,
When I first starting playing Skywars I was always a rusher. In the first 10 seconds I organized my inventory and rush the closest island nearby. The problems is as I was a newbie at the time (not that now I am not). I bridge and when I was 5 blocks from the island, oh boii I was building so far up that I was taking fall damage only to kill one person. Later of course I was making lesser and lesser sky bases. And I know that this is the easy way to kill someone because you can easily knock them of the void but still this is a little bit of annoying for a little more experience players. So again my suggestion is
If you see the other player is a newbie-> don't skybridge
If you see the other player a little bit of good-> try to sky Bridge, if they try to skybrigde too I am 90% sure this will go to the limits of building unless you make a brave jump and knock them of their skybrigde. (if you are not sure if this is a good move epearl where you are in the air and then jump, so if they knock you off your epearl will land and boom you just made a "clutch")
If you see the other person is a god-> I'm sure that the experience player will just make Wall so you can't knock them off so a good idea is just to risk it and pvp with them (you can always epearl away in a difficult situation).
Now if you are the person that gets skybrigde at just make walls.

When i skybridge i usually pole up with 2 poles incase some archer kitter sees me i can place a block on my side
