Why People Camp

So, in games such as MicroBattles and OITC, there are campers. To be honest, I used to camp when I first joined. But where's the fun in that? I don't camp much anymore. Campers are referred to as "noobs" by many people. I don't blame them, it's very annoying to build to them only to be hit off. There are bow campers too- people who camp and shoot people. They do this as a strategy to win. It ticks people off, obviously. I usually shoot at long range when somebody isn't looking, then attack them by sword. People also camp because they're targeted by a group or just in general. Either because they said something that triggered people or somebody is jealous of their position, they camp so everybody doesn't gang up on them. They might also camp because they want to wait untill the archers run out of arrows, then go down and fight. But it becomes a problem when you're literally the ONLY person on your team down there, and they just watch as you die. They hide and wait untill the players thin out, not caring about their team, and go down when there is 1 or 2 people left. MB is about teamwork, not sitting there until you're forced to go down! Anyways, these are just my opinions on why people camp. It's not againts the rules, but frowned apon by the majority of players.
 
In OITC, I usually strafe them and I use the compass if they shot me.
In Skywars, you have to play strategically and master your dodging and blocking skills.
In MicroBattles, it's almost the same thing as Skywars.

Well, I'm fine when ppl camp if they're the only one on their team from the beginning and all the other teams have full players. But if they camp when they have full players, and waits until there's only a few ppl left, then that ticks me off ._.

Or maybe if someone was targeting u with archer kit... XD

i get annoyed when ive cleared out everyone from an mb game and its me and someone else and i check there island and there not there i then check under the sand or whatever block is getting used in that map still cant find them ._. then they jump out of nowhere and attack you which is why i ask my dead friends who r spectating to find them for me ._. other then that campers dont exactly bother me

Hate to be that guy, but we've ALL camped before. Whether it's because there are really good players in your game or you suck at PvP and it's the only way to win, fine with me. Campers are ok, in my book, because technically if you call yourself a pro, and can't beat campers, then you, aren't a pro until you know how to counter campers (unless you face a 1v4 with archers or busyer, then you're fricked)

Yea, back when I just started, I camped, not as much anymore, but when you're the only one on your team, you kinda have to camp a bit and let the others kill each other first :/

Camping, technically, IS a strategy. It's just when you start calling yourself a pro and you excessive camp we gonna have problems
