It's the year, 2053, and the disease has not stopped, the last of the helpers were eliminated, and has become one of them. THE BACON. The disease was originally created to help humanity evolve at a faster rate, but was modified via mutation to have the users turn into brainless machines for the hive mind, that originally served them, and helped them evolve, and promised to bring a better humanity. Some chose to fight the bacon, but we're consumed by them, and became bacon. I have hidden upon what remains in this ruined world, at the tops of lobbies, only accessible with parkour skillz with food, hoping that soon the bacon will run out of their own resources, and cannibalize each other (bacon is quite tasty so it makes sense), so humanity can repopulate.
