Im going to get straight to the point, mobwars is mediocre in my opinion at best. Honestly, If I wanted to play a game of the bedwars genre, I would go over to another server to play it. That's kind of sad, saying with some changes, it could become a great addition to the genre due to it spicing up some things. Here's my problems with the minigame:
- My biggest problem is what strategies are viable in the first place. Sadly, the most viable strategy, is just to camp at your island, and grind material there, and occasionally at mid, before any form of offense to other teams. This is because, there is no respawn timer primarily. This puts attackers, even with better gear at a disadvantage, due to people just respawning, instantly and joining back into the fight. Camping also allows for quicker shop access. Personally, due to the maps huge sizes, there should be shops that all players could use at every island, and shops are accessible by everyone. The only way to be aggressive at all currently, is god bridge in early game, do destroy mobs, but then, still due to no respawn timer, It's hard to kill mobs, with early game gear, with noob dying and respawning like It's Edge of Tomorrow, trying to kill u. Late game, It's even harder due to people being like a Karen, and overprotecting their mob. Aggression, in late game could be made more viable as well, with extra mobility options. Maybe add tnt/fireball jumping for example. A final idea, to stop noobs who are constantly respawning and slowly sucking health away from aggressive players, is whenever a player kills someone, they get regeneration.
-Another problem is how mock 7 tryhards, who are really just noob, hog loot at the beginning of the game, even though they die in 5 seconds. Personally if more than one player is on a generator, the game, should split the loot output they get, to both players.
These are just some ideas to make the game quite good for players like me with an aggressive playstyle, instead of camping noobs, who actually often win.
