Why is the discord read only?

I don't understand that. Why not just remove the issues instead of shutting the whole server down? 99% of users weren't the problem

I do agree to that, But. the toxic players will just continue and continue, It's better if it's shutted down, They can reopen it tho, But. Just mute like the toxic player that is spreading the toxictity.

That would be a good thing to consider. After all, That is one of the reasons why the discord server has rules.
Certainly would be nice to see everyone active on there when or if it reopens in the future.

The discord server since November 24th of 2020 has been set to read only with some of the newer messages posted that same day being deleted.
It is rather strange in my opinion though that many of the staff members including WarriorGirl3333 who is one of the head admins of the BrokenLens server are still speculating reasons (As of December 6th which was the last update on the thread) as to why the server was listed for read only.
ssunsett and _PineappleDeath_ are the two head administrators for the discord server from what I could gather and ssunsett on November 26th vaguely mentioned that the server was closed for replies.
There simply hasn't been enough transparency as to what happened and it would be nice if there would be more information about why the discord server went silent and if there is anything that we as a community could do to help with that.
