why does THIS HAVE 1 BLOCK SPACE

When i was murd, 5 minutes ago i killed someone and it was an 1 block larger the place she was hiding, and it had an trapdoor down where she was in, so i killed her and the damn dead body couldn't let me open the trapdoor or leave because it was higher than 1 block, so i got locked lefting 2 minutes game

its kind of a minecraft problem almost,the player body is kind of considered a block,so you cant place a block where that person is,brokenlens just modified that bit to where its laying on the ground
