When you are on a Minecraft server, the data transfer includes:
  • Positions and actions of every player
  • Position of every entity/NPC
  • Position of every block
  • Status of every player
  • Items of every player
  • Chest storage
  • Chat
  • Server transfer data
And this data transfer adds up pretty quickly, this is the problem with using data to play online multiplayer games, especially Minecraft.

More when including data encryption services. More online players also means more data. BL is a huge server, no wonder it eats up data fast
