Why do ppl hate pixel art?

It’s harder than it looks, you know. There seems to be a particular bias in the community against it, and I don’t get why. Ppl just say “it’s lazy” when 70% of it is pretty bad and when they do it they can’t make a thing that looks like a thing at all. I get you only have to work 2d, so it’s a bit easier in that regard , but 3d has a lot easier ways to make shapes and forms.
 
I hate pixel art because for me it doesn't show much effort into their build. If it's really good, then I understand but u see, it's easy for them to just copy it off the internet. For some of the themes like cartoon, I guess pixel art would be fine, especially when some are making Tom and jerry. I also think pixel art is fine when it's Mario, but I recommend 3D. I like 3D Builds much more because it makes the Builds come to "life" if you know what I mean. This is just my opinion.

I agree with this

Pixel art is lazy asf,

Like imagine two builds

1 build is a super detailed huge scaled dragon
And the other is just a flat picture of a dragon

Agreeing with Flo, people seem to prefer 3d builds. They think that pixel art is lazier because it's flat. However, when the theme is something like "kitten", just making a 2d cat face is kinda lazy, when there's people building large statues. Unless the flat build is really good, then people will kinda hate it. However sometimes you need to build 2d, if the theme is an item, for example.

So basically, there are certain times when you should build in 3d, and other times in 2d. And if you build pixel art in a theme that should be 3d, then people will hate it. \(._.)/ *shrugs*

Ikr, it's even annoying if the pixel art is good... but the 3D took longer (most of the time) to build.. and more effort

I seriously prefer 3Ds over 2D. Pixel art makes me think that person copied 8-bit graphics from the internet.

I agree with 3D builds more. Why? Because imo, it shows that people have a great imagination and they have proof that they deserve to win.

The only time I like pixel art is when people go through the whole detailing process and everything, add shading, add all the really extra details and stuff like that cause that stuff does take some effort. Also pixel art on windows. You know in some churches the windows are made from stained glass, that kinda thing, that's cool and I'll accept that especially since in minecraft it's pretty hard to do unless you're making a large scale building.

Some people say people can easily find beautiful pixel art online but hard to find 3D. That’s why a lot of people say building a pixel art is lazy. They think people didn’t create them or think them by their own selfs.
