Why do I need so much EXP to level up?

I've recently reached level 101 and it says I need 100k EXP to level up.A friend of mine is level 142,and she said that the real is 2000.

Well I'm not sure about that but it's just like those type of levels that takes lots of exp like level 26 takes 2400 or 24000 idk I forgot
