Why are some chests in skywars fake?

Are the devs just major trolls or is there actually a reason behind it?

I think they are invisible because each island should have 2 chests andthe third one i guess is the invisible one so theres like a max amount of chest there should be in center aswell which explains why some of them are invisible

But if you say all the chest are only 2 but why there are 2 maps that is only have 1 chest and i seen a map with 3 chest so then its just a glitch?
