I recommend headphones,earphones fall out of your ears a lot. ._. it's just annoying,and sometimes they're too small or big to fit in your ears. xD

Obviously headphones give better quality sound, and they block external sounds better than earphones because they cover your ears, rather than just going in your ears xD So I would recommend headphones too

Yea, headphones might seem to do less harm to the ears, but the fact is if they're used with loud volume, they are capable of harming even more than earbuds.
So, the best advice would be to use headphones with caution!

Earphones? Umm... not sure.
Well I only like earphones when I want to listen to music without drawing attention to myself.
And consider cleaning the ear buds right after being used. •~•
