What's the dumbest school rule your school has enforced?

two bathroom passes a quarter:,(

only 10 min passing time when theres 3 stories, two separate buildings that are far away, and with extremely crowded halls ldkdkdkdo

and last two weeks nobody can go in the halls during class

i went to a private school, so i had uniform, and the skirt must be below the knees (i think 2 fingers) which is just ridiculous, they kept changing the lengths each year and the material of the skirt is so heavy and hot

My school laid back lol we supposed to follow school uniform (which is to wear anything that's black, white, and/or gray) but we easily get away with it

My school allows phones in class and stuff and our school has retake policy where we can retake any assignment that goes into powerschool as long as you follow the requirements (differs from teacher to teacher)

1.no light blue colord jeans (the uniform comes with a ugly green vest or hemd idek how to say it in english and blue jeans pants)
2.girls cant have loose hair bc they are "trying to impress the boys"
3.no makeup
4.no hats
5.no jackets / sweaters even if its cold :cautious:
6.not allowd to go to the restroom after a pauze (idk how to say in English) but my pauze is at 10:15 am and ends 10:45
7.NO PHONES EVEN WHEN ITS A PARTY AT SCHOOL (the teachers will think u will watch inappropriate thingys)

There's also basically a zero-tolerance policy.

oof i could think of alot of things
- No mobile phones (what’s the point in taking them lol) (not even at breaks)
- No football/soccer until summer time (lol we can’t do that now)
- No exiting classes at all costs unless you have a respective “pass”.
- No throwing snowballs during winter (D:.)

-Only 2 people at a time can go to the bathroom (1 girl 1 boy) (most likely to prevent groups of kids gathering in the bathroom to skip some class time)
I think one of my teachers had a bathroom log thing where you're supposed to record whenever you go to the bathroom on a clipboard that sits in the classroom. Like fr, what's the point of that? Do you really wanna see how many times someone went to the bathroom? At least I actually never go to the bathroom during school LMAO (idk, I never felt the urge to use the toilet and I use the toilet like 1-2 times a day, or even sometimes, NEVER xD)
-No headphones/Air Pods/earbuds
There have been students that go like "aIr PoDs, AiR pOdS!" when someone actually has them on or is wearing a hood (cuz some students hide wearing them by having their hood on, and hats/hoods aren't allowed to be on in class)
-Personal phones/devices are only allowed before and after school
Why not at break tho? Like I literally have nothing to do except eat my snack lmao

At my school we have an agora and there’s stairs that go to the top of the agora with a ring on it where a lot of kids stand after lunch and there’s no classes around because there’s pathways to all the classes but they insist we stay downstairs and it’s annoying because I’m always that one kid who goes there anyways and they just don’t care anymore- they always let us stand there before class in the morning but not at lunch- like WHY BRO EIENWKWJANA

also teachers yell at you if you don’t speak French at school because we are supposed to be proud of out school and to be franco-ontariens and stuff and on our report card there’s a section called HH (habilité et habitudes) and you can either get a N, S, T or E (E IS THE BEST FOR EXCELLENT) and if u get an N then that means it’s “not acceptable and you have to fix it”

GYM CLASS SJSNWKWIQNWKJ my teacher locks us in the change room till the next class comes around if we aren’t out of the change room by 5 minutes after the bell and if you show up late to class she doesn’t let you change- she starts the class with 5 laps around the gym (which she counts to make sure we all do the 5 laps) then counts our pushups sit-ups squats and wall jumps (why are wall jumps a thing they literally do nothing) and if we are caught not doing them she will make us restart. If you speak English in that class she gives you pushups- like WTF BRO

No tops where you can see ur shoulders, tank tops have to be 3 fingers wide and no ripped jeans. For gym you have to wear the uniform or it lowers your grade.

you can’t go to the bathroom if it had just been lunch and you are in class- they usually make you wait till half or quarter of the class is done unless ur gonna puke.

at the cafeteria each grade has a section assigned to sit at which means you can’t really sit with friends of other grades or you get made fun of by everyone.

if you walk through the agora people throw money at you and laugh and if you pick it up no one will be ur friend- teachers say if you get caught throwing money you get detention for like a week during lunch time

no eating food in class (only some teachers) even if they are eating in class they don’t let you and then you get detention if you get caught

at my old school (THANK GOD I DONT HAVE THIS ANYMORE) you can’t use ur phone before or after school, during lunch or even at recess if they see it they take it and give it to the principal for you to pick up at the end of the day. If it’s been. More than one time you were caught they will make your parents come pick up ur phone for you
