What was better, The Light Novel, Manga or Anime?

So you know the shrek anime wich now has 4 seasons the 5th coming out next year
And ive been following it for a while and have read the light novel, not completely the manga and the anime
So I think the manga was a bit rushy and focused on bad things of the story
The anime was great but season 3 was crappy and it only lasted 12 episodes onlike the other ones who lasted 30-24
And the ghird season focused on the last fight wich lasted for 4 chapters
In my opinion the light novel was the best one since it was deeply into the story but one thing is that it didnt focus as much as the story of shrek
