creative is creative mode
in most servers, Creative means that u can claim a plot (ex: a 200x200 square) and build on it. no one else can edit it unless u give it away/give them permission to build on it.

Creative mode allows players to destroy all blocks instantly (including normally-indestructible blocks such as bedrock) and the ability to fly. Players are given an infinite number of blocks to build with and no health or hunger bar thus rendering the player immune to all damage. Creative mode is one of the main game modes in Minecraft.

it's plots and building. griefing someone else's plot is a ban. it's most commonly found in prison servers. it used to be a thing I think but it got removed

Hi! Creative mode will probably not be making a comeback since it has been proven to cause bugs and crashes. This might be unrelated, but right now there seems to be many hackers using creative mode on the servers (in games such as Skywars, etc). I'm assuming the term "creative" here (on Forums) is used for players who wants to come up with ideas. Not sure if this helps because I don't really understand which term you're referring to.
