i know this thread might sound like im being delusional or overly dramatic and attached to the server but thats not really the case, brokenlens as a whole united us all and brought to us very unique experiences at a young age, this thread is just an overall personal opinion regarding the new updates of how things are progressing
so after the closure of the server in 2022, and forums in 2023 due to no more agreements to the service providers, and the low income, (basically no money), it all had to shut down and everyone to live their lives with brokenlens being nothing but a memory, until about a week or two, after 3 years, the forums is announced to be back online , which for many was an absolute dream, including myself because ive always wanted to be reunited with the ones who I genuinely loved and to say sorry for the ones I genuinely hurt in the past due to my childish immature behavior
anyways, now that its all back and its all good, theres still a question ongoing, why did the website come back? and why coming soon the app is?
now thats the million dollars question, why, after three years, why is it back?
and lets be real now, the website is back to its dead status, no one is online anymore but a really few, you cant tell me that this small amount of activity will be enough to cover up the new funds to keep the website running, unless vertx has short terms plans to just keep it online for a few months and its back to closure, but still, why? why would he bring it up ?
now i know this question is probably for him to answer, but its just something im asking to myself, especially the only way vertx had the ability to keep everything financially running was through the crypto transfers of purchasing ranks and other stuff, but those were all “in-server” items, and there is no “server”, so, who is keeping the whole thing financially covered?
the way i see things, the server might, and i mean a very small percentage might come back, and it wont be the same, rather a new, remastered brokenlens, i mean come on, forums is back, app is coming back soon? there is no way you’ll convince me its just for the memories and nostalgia, there has to be something behind it, if the server comes back it might not be for us since we’ve all grown, but for the new generation, as its their story to write now (is shakespear really dead
