This is getting ridiculous.
I don't wanna cause drama or blahblah but I wanna state my opinion just like befib.
Brlns in 2016-2017 were filled with players who plays fairly and not thirsty for levels.
Straight when MM and SPLT came out the server became so unfair. Players play for exp. All legends in SPLT r in ldb level. and ldb global is filled with MM legends.
I mean I just don't understand why cant it all be fair. why is everyone so desperate to be on the ldb why cant we all be fair.

TBH I know Im in mm ldb and global cause of MM. But I could care less if they made It harder to win and get less wins. even if the game didn't exist I dont mind. atleast it isn't filled with tryhards. I only play MM to avoid people I hate..I try to stop its hard. Dang I wish MM could be harder to win and SPLT and QUAKE gives less exp...would bring so much joy and fairness to people.

even the old people quiting. Id love to mention them. there were so many old legends back then that would make the server bright and happy. they all officially quited and all that's left is players who plays too much. I do too but mostly Im in lobby.
This above message abt quiting is specially stated to an MM close friend of mine. I miss them so much in the server. even tho they play too much idc. they made joy in the server and after I heard they quit I felt like I wanted to go jump off a cliff cause the server got too much worse..and even other legends and old players we miss..some of you already know who Im talking about.
Please don't give hate to this. I just wanna state my opinion and see what you guys think...
 
Honestly, I've obtained insufficent time acquiring for weekly, monthly or legend of the year board.
Just thankful that my life is lived more meaningful than those of the leaderboards. *Triggered legends*

The Brokenlens server is where I enjoy time with others pvping. Not striving for fame throughout the thousands. Rather, setting achieveable goals such as "5 win streak on SkyWars" for some of that self-satisfaction.

The whole point of a game is to complete the objectives, and levels and LDB are there for that reason. If people want to compete for that, I don’t really see a problem, there really isn’t a way to cheat to get on LDB, or to level up, you just gotta play more mini-games. Yes people are obsessive with the level thing, but hey! It’s there as an objective, think about it... with out the LDB and levels, would people really play more often? If there wasn’t really a goal to set and a reward for winning/playing? I don’t think so... a game with out its rewards for winning and objectives to complete, isn’t a game and it’s kinda boring. The level is just there to show how much you play to other players, you can show it off, and compete with friends. If some people like yourself are just taking too seriously, which (NO OFFENSE) I don’t see why. You could always ignore those players who are level hungry, and just play yourself, and get your group of friends whom don’t care for levels, because I’m pretty sure there’s a lot of other people in this community who don’t care about leveling up, or being on the LDB (I myself for one, don’t really care about either). If anything, I believe Brokenlens is getting better and better by the day as a server, the people in the community may differ. Some “Toxic”, some “Obnoxious” But “In every apple tree there is going to be some bad apples.”

I agree what both Patty and Woona said

The server may be trying to get up on leaderboards more than they should. But at the same time, a game would be boring without rewards and competing. If you see a toxic person who is trying to level up. /Hub or just ignore them.

I don’t really get why everyone hates ldbs. What’s life without a little competition? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) It’s not like I never have fun and I don’t have friends, I love going to mm wih my friends and doing weird random stuff. And I still have fun playing the game where I’m on an ldb. Ldbs are just there for the competition, it also shows how dedicated you are to a game.

Tbh theres too many tryhards. People just need to be more casual and have fun, and not avoid their friends just to get on lbd.

I get ur point woona, but they don't work hard like they do to get on ldb, Unlike us. we work hard (count me out) to be on ldb for years. many old players in brlns in the past 2 years worked hard to level up and get on the ldb...not like some people who just joined the server a month ago then end out being in ldb level.

I personally just avoid them, But I find it irritating to some people. its not for me. but for others it is and I can feel what they mean by it.

I left MM and started to play more pvp games. I grind everyday to be something and someone, but the MM and other legends just step over guys like me and become legends.

If I didn't leave MM and was still active like before, I would've been on at least level 15000

Now that I'm reading a statement related to past BL I'm starting to gather information about my on this server. Yes no one was thirsty for levels since I'm pretty sure none of the games granted a good amount of exp? I don't remember but all I remember was the level system wasn't added yet until a point in time in 2016; probably 1/2 a month before October?
(I'm gonna mention October a lot when it comes to me remembering my BL past hoping that I don't look like one of them new kids on the server)

I played pvp games a lot like you Sami when you decided to leave MM, except I was more of Strelitzia playing SkyWars but replace SkyWars with OITC. What I'm seeing is forgotten effort because of the lack of skill to play MM.

If you didn't leave MM, I think you'd be around level 6,725 instead since the experience required for level up increases for every level up.
