What happened to these maps?

Ok so in the past 2 days (I think), the maps HS1 and HS2 have not been showing up. (Those maps are the Mario and Smurf maps for people who dont know.) I asked some of my friends, and they said they haven't played on those maps in the past 2 days. Also, one person today said that they took out these maps. So I wanted to ask, is it true? If it is, why? Thanks for reading this :) (I know it's kinda long, sorry!)
 
I can understand why the Nario map would be removed, but not the Smurf map (if that is what happened). The Mario map offers way too much of an advantage to hiders

its possible to get out of the smurf map (super hard parkour) thats unfair to seekers... maybe thats y

If that's the case with the Smurf map, then why is the snow map with the buildings still in the game?

Yeah, that's true. Also with the Smurf map, it's really big so maybe that's why. (Even though most of da maps are big xD)
