i always have players toggled off cuz it helps with lag in lobby a lot, especially when there's a lot of players online. i only turn it on when im with friends lol

The red tag means they have players toggled off, pretty much it means that they won't see players. You can enable it by doing /players or use the dye. It helps you get rid of lag sometimes. I personally don't use it though, unless i'm in main lobby.
