What does redstone ore do ???

When i played teamskywars i love the ore drops, the only one that happen not drop a cool items,efects,etc. My idea is redstone ore drop like tnt,flint and steel,bow and arrows,etc or i can a random thing like it redstone but hidden drops.

Or this can be remove for skywars.

Lapis Lazuli Ore
Drops random tool.
Redstone Ore
Drops redstone
(Useless really, used for decorations, obstacles and TNT uses)
Emerald Ore
Gives you a random potion effect.
Diamond Ore
Drops a diamond item.
