What do we do with gems?

I’ve noticed this for quite a while and never got the time to post it, but I would just like to ask what the gems are for?

In games like tnt run and mm and a few more that they have these gem things where you get free stuff from them in return for a gem. I’ve played on this server for a long time, and I’ve used the gem thing when it was working. But now it just doesn’t work...

Is there anything I can do with the gems in the mean time?

it gives you some rewards, but vertx is upgrading it now so you can't use it i think because i haven't play for along time in brlns

Yeh, I was playing when it gave me rewards, but then when I came back in like 6 months, it said it was upgrading. Just to make sure there isn’t anything else I can do with it while I wait for the upgrade. thxx
