I'm not entirely too sure but it started to become popular about 2017 I believe? Maybe 2018~ anyways I think from what I heard from the old days around that time it was told to be the hour that supernatural events would occur, 3am is also a time people would say as "Devils Hour".

Dude, that happens to me every week.Usually wake up 2 times a night around 2 3 4 Am.When i wake up i have a very weird fear experience.Like someone is around me

Yep! They refer to it as the "Devil's hour" due to it being a mocking inversion of the time in which Jesus supposedly died, which was at 3 pm.
