Weird PVP Bug

so i got this bug, whenever i hit some1 in a pvp game, i just c them get knocked back i dont hear any sound and they dont turn red...

its sooo annoying, it feels like im doing less damage. any1 know how to fix this?

It's a bug that's always been around, I don't know if it'll be fixed.
