Warnings points are giving to warn people if they did something bad like
*spamming reports or ban appeals
*bullying someone or bullying staff
*argument

I think if you get a lot of warning points in the server you can get a ban
In forums, you can get a ban too

Server warning points don't get you banned on the forums.

I'll explain it in my own words as i found this explanation hard to understand. (Sorry )

Warning points are given when someone does something bad, but not bad enough to get a ban or mute and once you get enough it might end in punishment.
